Architectural Lighting Design is an independent lighting design consultancy based in Sydney, Australia. Our objective is to ensure that each project is enhanced through the implementation of a well designed and sustainable lighting scheme that meets the quality and budget needs of each individual Client.
For us, lighting design is about the integration of light and architecture. Our advice and designs are project and user specific; always with the aim to express the character of a space through lighting designs that go well beyond the simple provision of functional lighting to see by.
Lighting should touch our emotions and influence our feeling of wellbeing. We use lighting as a medium that helps to reveal a space’s expression and evoke different moods. These moods might change depending on the use of the space, the time of day or the seasons.
People, the users of each space, are at the forefront of our designs and we are most satisfied when our Clients just love the space, whether they recognise that the lighting scheme contributes significantly to this feeling, or not.
